Use and care: 

• The spoon is coated with a layer of oil to preserve the spoon during storage to avoid cracking. Before first use, hand wash with mild soap, wipe dry immediately & air dry.
• Do not put the wooden spoon into dishwasher, microwave oven or expose under direct sunlight.
• Do not soak the wooden spoon in water for prolonged period. 
• Periodically wipe with olive oil using a towel and wipe off the excess to restore the wood grain to its original beauty when it appears to be drying out.
